So, I've taken a break from some personal development to get back into some fiction.
Right now I am reading two of Jenny Han's books:

  • P.S. I Still Love You (Sequel to To All the Boys I've Loved Before)
  • The Summer I Turned Pretty

I borrowed these through my library's ebook provider. I've been waiting for a while to read these, so these books have been on hold for almost a month. I have them only checked out for three weeks, so hopefully I can finish them before it is time to return them. 

With the cold fall weather approaching, it is nice to have a somewhat of a summer book to curl up with a blanket as well in the cold weather. I have not read too much into this book yet, so I assume it is a basic summer romance/summer fling novel. Hopefully it will not disappoint, but I do not expect it to disappoint from Jenny's previous books.

Maybe I'll be able to find a balance between the fiction of these books and the nonfiction of my personal development books sometime soon to be able to enjoy both and read both, but for now I'll guess I'll keep switching between the two every few weeks.

I also seem to finish fiction books faster than nonfiction books, as seen by my Goodreads challenge to read 24 books (I've actually surpassed this and made a new goal of reading 30 books). So, let's see me how long it takes to finish these!

An Open Letter to A Rude Neighbor

Dear Neighbor, On this day of gratitude, I would like to express my gratitude for you. If you were not rude and trying to overpower me, I would not be the person I am today, strong and fighting for what is right against the injustices you put against me. You make me fight for myself and that has made me a better person. Heck, all you want to do is fight over text, which shows how much of a coward you really are. You don't know me at all yet you attack my ego, and try to tell me I deflect and psychoanalzye me. Well guess what, I don't believe it. I'm glad you like attacking people from behind a screen and then 10 minutes later apologize. The thing is though, you don't have the strength to fight and argue with me in person, nor apologize in person. Little do you know actions speak louder than words, so even if you did apologize in person, I would not accept it, as I know you will do it again in a few months. Hard World Hurting

From the girl that has so much heart, the hard world hurts. I feel like I have all my ducks in a row but one is missing, love, romantic love at that. Every turn around, it's someone I don't jive with or someone that doesn't make a move, so I end up on the couch wondering if I will be alone forever. And then u find someone I jive with and they are not jiving with me.  Now I don't see myself as fake or anything. If anything I'm the opposite, authentic to a tee.
